Box Score Glendale, AZ- Menlo Women's Tennis is coming back to Atherton with two victories via two 7-0 sweeps. Their latest win came against Arizona Christian in which coach Cabell's team didn't lose a match against the Firestorm. The 21st ranked Oaks have had quite a few matches postponed or canceled due to weather. Thankfully, they have now had a chance to show the conference what they are made of.
Dialed In During The Doubles
The Oaks wasted no time establishing in this matchup. Franziska Niederle and Anthea Weiland would win 6-2. The duo have now won their third straight match as a pair. Yet, the Oaks third pair of Lea Mocher and Andrea Vlasceanu were even more dominant. They would shut out Arizona Christian winning 6-0. Thanks to such a strong start Menlo started the singles matches with a 1-0 lead and wouldn't look back.
Six Singles Wins
All six Oaks who took the court would leave it victorious. Niederle, Weiland, Mocher and Vlasceanu all won their singles matches on top of their duos sets. Another two Oaks, Valentina Urelli Rinaldi and Milana Hrudka were also able to pick up wins. Hrudka would win her first set 6-1 before clinching the victory in the second set 6-3. Rinaldi was locked in a slightly more competitive match but still defeated ACU's Deondra Bacchus 6-4 and 6-2.

The Oaks have now officially won four matches in a row. The team will return to Atherton for a well earned break before traveling down to Santa Barbara to take on the Westmont Warriors on March 17th!
