Rocklin, CA- Menlo Women's Basketball traveled to Rocklin for a neutral site game against the Warriors of Westcliff University. The game was hosted by GSAC rival Jessup University and marked the Oaks first game on the road of the season. While the results were not what the team had hoped for, there were still positives to be had that can help the team build for the future!
Jordyn Rosette Comes to Play
On a day where the Oaks' usually effective offense struggled to get things going, senior Jordyn Rosette came up big to keep the team in the game. For the game Rosette would score 24 points, grab 10 rebounds and come up with five steals. Anyone familiar with Rosette's game knows that she is lethal as a two way player. Her ability to stretch the floor while also defending across five positions was on full display with her hitting three three point shots. While she scored a modest eight points going into the half, the forward would come alive in the second half of the game with 15 points and four of her five steals. Heading into this year, Rosette was going to be looked upon to continue her ascension as one of the top players in the conference, it looks like she is more than up to the challenge.
