Santa Clarita, CA- Menlo Cross Country competed in their final race of the GSAC Championship Meet down in Santa Clarita, CA. It was a solid showing from both teams with the men taking fifth place in the conference and narrowly missing out on beating Hope International to further climb the leaderboards.

Men's 8K Race

As has been the case all season long the Oaks were once again led by sophomore Alex Kemei as he was the first Oak to cross the finish line. He wrapped up the 8K course in 26:26.7 which was good for an 18th place finish. Freshman Marc Hegele has also been a staple of the team finishing in 26:46.6 as the second Menlo runner. He would cross the finish line in 25th place which sets him up nicely for improvement as he looks to his future with the Oaks. The rest of Menlo's included Robert Kirkman, Enzo Cior, Carlos Cogan, Keith Toncu and Joshua Peller.

Women's 6K List

On the women's course Emmanuelle Hoffmann and Daniela Ramirez would be the first two to cross the finish line only seconds apart. Hoffmann would finish in 25:15.2 while Ramirez would finish in 25:24.5.  Jimena Ortiz and Thalia Thomas would also compete for the Oaks.
