The Oaks made history by securing their first-ever victory as an NCAA Division II program with a commanding 4-0 sweep over Jessup University! This win marks a major milestone for the program as they continue to build momentum early in the season. The day started with dominant doubles performances. Livia Harper and Andrea Vlasceanu secured a strong 6-3 victory in the top spot, followed by Milana Hrudka and Anthea Weiland, who also took care of business with a 6-3 win. Yousra Hidass and Lea Mocher closed out the doubles sweep in dominant fashion with a flawless 6-0 victory, giving the Oaks a 1-0 lead heading into singles play. From there, Menlo continued to dominate as Yousra Hidass, won 6-0 in both sets to earn the second point for the Oaks. Anthea Weiland followed with another impressive performance, taking her match 6-1 in both sets. Finally, Lea Mocher sealed the deal with a 6-2, 6-1 victory, securing Menlo’s first win of the season! With this historic win, the Oaks have set the tone for an exciting season ahead, as the Oaks will host their home opener this Saturday against Fresno Pacific at 11AM on the Cartan Tennis Courts.
