The standout sophomore, hailing from Temecula, CA has been a force on the mat this season. Fresh off a dominant 15-0 technical fall victory against San Francisco State, Matt continues to set the standard for excellence. As the first ever Oak Squad Oak of the Week, Matt has already built an impressive resume this season. Some highlights include a first place finish at the Battle at Sparta tournament and a commanding 13-4 major decision in the Oaks’ season-opening dual against Victor Valley. ??With his consistency and relentless offensive style, Matthew is a true powerhouse and a key wrestler to watch as the season progresses.
