Down 0-2, the Oaks refused to back down, launching a determined offensive effort that began with Eder Carrasco’s goal to get them on the board. Celant was pivotal, scoring the equalizer and the game-winning goal within just four minutes of themselves, propelling Menlo to a hard-fought win. Roy Rosenberg earns Oak of the Week Honorable Mention for his crucial role in setting up both of Celant’s goals with perfectly placed assists. With this win, Menlo Men’s Soccer secures 2nd place in the PacWest standings and has a shot at claiming the top spot with one final regular-season match against Biola on Thursday, November 7th, at 12!
