Gabby had a monster performance at the plate against the Vanguard Lions this past week that helped Oaks Softball secure a 4-0 sweep at home. The senior utility from Hollister put on an absolute clinic, going 7-for-13 at the plate while scoring four runs, driving in five RBIs, and drawing two walks across the four-game series. Rodriguez also doubled in every single game and capped off her dominant weekend with a three-run home run in Game 4. Her offensive surge powered the Oaks throughout the series and played a major role in all four victories. The team’s outstanding performance didn’t go unnoticed either, as the Oaks were also honored as the PacWest Conference Team of the Week. They look to continue their winning ways as conference play continues, with the help of Gabby’s bat!
