The junior from Tracy, California, kicked off the 2025-26 season in dominant fashion at the Menlo Women’s Open this past Sunday. Competing in the 180 pound weight class, Shrive made a powerful statement in her return to the mat, opening her tournament with a 16-second fall before rolling through the quarterfinals with a 10-0 technical fall. In the semifinals, she showcased her grit and composure, grinding out a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the #5-ranked wrestler in the NAIA. Shrive then capped off her incredible day with a 31-second pin in the final over the reigning NAIA Champion, securing the title of 180 Champion.
