The junior defender from Israel made a huge impact in Menlo’s 3-1 PacWest Conference victory over Dominican University on Saturday. Rosenberg was involved in all three of the Oaks’ scoring plays, showing his influence on both ends of the field. After combining with Oliver Mayer in the buildup to Menlo’s opening goal, Rosenberg’s pressure helped set up Mendoza Aguilar’s brilliant strike to give the Oaks an early lead. Just minutes after Dominican equalized, Rosenberg delivered a perfectly lofted ball on a set piece to the back post, where David Stuber redirected it for Isak Haukefaer to finish and put Menlo back on top. He capped off his standout performance early in the second half, finding space in the box to control a cross from Tyler Maas and slot it into the bottom corner for Menlo’s third goal of the day. Rosenberg plays in the final home matches of the season against Chaminade on Thursday at 4pm and Hawaii Pacific on Saturday at 2pm!
