Excelling amid challenging weather conditions at Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Course, Stark placed third out of a 95-golfer field in the Otter Invitational. The graduate student from High Wycombe, England began by tying for second overall, delivering six birdies to power a 2-under-par 70 opening round which served as his lowest score of the season and fourth-lowest round of his career. After a 3-over-par 75 in round two, Stark collected five more birdies while moving up one spot on the final day of action, shooting a 1-under-par 71 to bring him to an impressive even par through 36 holes on toughest courses in Northern California. For his efforts, Stark was also named Pacific West Conference Golfer of the Week.
