Shane Stent began as a Menlo Assistant Men’s Volleyball Coach in 2026 after serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach during the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
In his 2026 season with the Oaks, Menlo finished with a 3-20 record overall as well as a 2-12 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation mark. Off the court, the squad secured the AVCA Team Academic Award with five MPSF All-Academic honorees.
Stent’s 2025 debut season with Menlo saw the Oaks go 13-13 overall and 7-5 in MPSF play. Highlights included a qualification for the MPSF Championship Tournament as well as Wojciech Nowak breaking the program’s single-season record for service aces (57) en route to being named All-MPSF Honorable Mention. Off the court, the AVCA Team Academic Award marked another program first.
