Menlo College

Hailing from Kailua, Hawaii, Rysan Leong enters his second season as an assistant coach under head coach Joey Martinez, bringing a championship pedigree and deep ties to the Menlo Wrestling program. Leong has played an integral role in developing the Oaks into a national powerhouse, drawing from his decorated career on the mat.

As a standout student-athlete at Menlo College, Leong compiled an impressive list of accolades:
• 2023 NAIA National Champion at 165 lbs
• 2x NAIA All-American (2023, 2024)
• 2x Cascade Collegiate All-Conference Selection (2023, 2024)
• 2x Hawaii State Champion

Leong graduated from Menlo College in 2024 with a degree in Sports Management along with a minor in Sales. Leong’s passion, leadership, and firsthand experience at the highest levels of competition continue to shape the next generation of Menlo Wrestling.
