Menlo College

Mason Hanshaw enters his first season on the Menlo College Baseball coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant after spending the 2026 season as a catcher for the Oaks. Hanshaw made an immediate impact in his senior season, starting 21 of 29 appearances and batting .288 with 17 hits, three doubles and four home runs. He added 10 runs and 10 RBI while posting a .542 slugging percentage and .865 OPS. Hanshaw earned PacWest Player of the Week honors after going 5-for-9 with three home runs, three runs scored and six RBI against Fresno Pacific in a single doubleheader.

Before arriving at Menlo, Hanshaw began his collegiate career at The College of Idaho before continuing at Chabot College and Sonoma State University. After finishing his playing career in Atherton, he now transitions to the coaching staff, bringing his experience as a collegiate catcher and his firsthand knowledge of the Menlo program to help develop the Oaks and continue building a winning culture.
