Katarina Azzimonti joined the Menlo College Sports Medicine staff in 2026.
Azzimonti was an athletic training student at Cal State San Marcos where she handled injury evaluations and designed as well as implemented individualized rehabilitation programs. Involved with all sports, she maintained documentation for athletes and communicated with healthcare professionals. Prior to CSUSM, Azzimonti served as a teaching assistant for Clinical Anatomy at San Diego State as well as an athletic training student for Grossmont Community College.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Rehabilitative Sciences from Boise State, Azzimonti earned her master’s degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State. In addition to receiving the Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association Jerry Lloyd Memorial Scholarship and Gregory Voight and Robert Moore Endowed Scholarship in Athletic Training from SDSU, she held the leadership roles of vice president and historian for the Future Athletic Trainers’ Society across 2024-26.
