Menlo College

Jacob Pickard returns to Menlo College as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach, bringing a wealth of coaching experience at both the collegiate and junior college levels. Pickard previously served at Menlo during the 2017-18 season and rejoined the program ahead of the 2024 campaign.

Most recently, Pickard was an Assistant Coach at Cal State Bakersfield in 2023, where he specialized in defensive organization, recruiting, scouting, and planning training sessions. Prior to that, he served as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Cal State East Bay, working closely with forwards, midfielders, and goalkeepers while also leading team-building and leadership development efforts.

His coaching journey began at Cañada College and includes a role as the Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper Coach at the University of San Francisco. With a strong foundation in player development, tactical strategy, and culture-building, Pickard is a valuable addition to the Oaks coaching staff. He enters the 2025 season energized and eager to make an immediate impact.
