Ellison Weaver began as Graduate Assistant Coach with Menlo Women’s Volleyball in August 2025.
Outside of her work in the Union High School Skills Clinic most recently in 2025, Weaver brings six years of coaching experience into her role with Menlo after four stints with Uintah Basin Volleyball Club as well as time on the sidelines of Turlock Crush Volleyball Club and a State Championship with Union High School in 2020. She also served as club volleyball official in both California and Utah in 2024-25.
A highly-decorated student-athlete at Stanislaus State, Weaver concluded her collegiate career by helping the Warriors to a historic season in 2024, going 22-8 overall while winning the California Collegiate Athletics Association Championship Tournament. The Tournament Most Valuable Player, Weaver averaged 2.34 kills and 2.15 digs per set, was named AVCA DII Player of the Week, and posted four double-doubles including two during the tournament. She ended with the sixth-most career kills (833) in program history.
Over the course of her time with the Warriors, Weaver was a two-time team captain, three-time CCAA All-Academic honoree, a D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner, CSC Academic All-District, Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, and a Will Keener Sportsmanship Award honoree.
Weaver's extensive high school resume includes a 3A State Championship, All-Star Team honor, and MVP as well as three First Team All-State and three region titles. A team captain, she ranked second in the state of Utah in total kills in addition to leading the region in both kills and digs. Weaver also qualified for Nationals with her club squads, competing for the top 17U and 18U Open Teams in Utah.
