Cole Marmor is no stranger to the Sports Performance industry and is certified as a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and an American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/ CPR/AED. The Tucson, Arizona native earned his Associates of Arts Degree in Social Sciences from Long Beach City College in 2018 and eventually completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University in 2020.
Cole joined the Menlo College Sports Performance team as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach August 2022 and was able to find his role within the department fast. He quickly was promoted to a full-time Sports Performance Coach by that December 2022. Cole grew his coaching style from his own experience of being a college athlete playing Football at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. Cole is passionate about positively impacting athletes beyond physical development and believes it is to the utmost importance to develop the entire person as a whole.
Before his time at Menlo, Cole began his career as a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Long Beach City College Football program. He then transitioned to work as a Performance Coach at Richfield, MN, Saint Paul, MN, Maple Grove, MN, and Roseville Area High School in Roseville, MN. During this time he was able to gain great experience working with youth athletes and developing programs based off of team, coach, and individual goals. In May 2022, Cole accepted a Sports Performance Internship at Elon University where he assisted the department in their day-to-day operations while also completing internship curriculum involving data collection to better create programs and evaluations.
