Ashley Brankovich began as Menlo College Director of Sports Medicine in July 2026.

With Menlo College in her most recent stint since 2021, Brankovich has progressed from Health and Wellness Coordinator to Assistant Director for Engagement and Wellness. Initially, she held the responsibility of an on-site basic needs coordinator, guiding food and hygiene resources throughout the community while leading the creation and implementation of emergency money fund distribution to students.

A Menlo Park Rotary Grant recipient and mentor with the Menlo College Mentor Program, Brankovich organized over 25 campus health and wellness events while also managing the fitness center. In her newer role, she has overseen student government and clubs on campus.

Prior to 2021, Brankovich could be found in charge of 15 NCAA sports at Cal State East Bay. She was both the department’s NCAA health care administrator and drug testing coordinator, ensuring insurance and budget compliance while working with team physicians and supervising multiple assistants.

Brankovich debuted at Menlo College as the Head Athletic Trainer in 2014, overseeing more than 16 NAIA sports over the course of five years. She led a four-member staff, implemented STI testing for students, taught weekly fitness classes on campus, and was a preceptor for the San Jose State undergraduate program in addition to being responsible for drug testing, insurance coordination, and other documentation within the Athletics Department.

Brankovich, who has served as an athletic trainer for major events such as the 2013 Maccabi Games and 2016 World Figure Skating Championships, earned her master’s degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State following her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Winona State.

A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Brankovich is also a member of the Far West Athletic Trainer’ Association and American College Health Association.
