AJ Gonzalez

Anthony “AJ” Gonzalez joined Menlo College Athletics as an Assistant Sports Information Director and Game Operations Coordinator, where he primarily oversaw coverage and operations for Men’s and Women’s Golf. Following his successful tenure in the Sports Information Department, AJ transitioned into a new role for the 2025–26 season as Director of Baseball Operations under Head Coach Mike Givens, continuing his commitment to enhancing the student-athlete experience at Menlo.


A graduate of the University of Oregon, AJ earned his Bachelor of Science from the Lundquist College of Business, with an emphasis in Sports Business and a minor in Economics. His professional journey reflects a well-rounded background in sports operations, analytics, brand development, and media relations.


Industry Experience:

  • BG Sports Enterprises (Los Angeles, CA) – Part-Time, Remote

    • Led outreach efforts to brands and media for athlete partnerships

    • Contributed to the business plan and investor pitch for BPOP (Brand Promotional Opportunities Platform)

    • Supported athlete scheduling and media appearances at Super Bowl LVIII Radio Row

  • Texas Rangers Baseball Club (Arlington, TX) – Internship

    • Rotated through business analytics, sales, and guest services departments

    • Tracked and uploaded Minor League data for the Round Rock Express

    • Engaged in suite sales and enhanced fan experience support

  • PGA Tour Superstore (East Palo Alto, CA) – Club Repair Associate

    • Acquired in-depth product knowledge across club manufacturers

    • Provided front-line customer service and technical support
