Menlo College

Jonathan Frechette joins the volleyball coaching staff for his first season in 2016-17. The husband of fourth-year head coach Atlee Frechette, Jonathan brings a strong background as a coach and player to the volleyball team this season. He was an assistant at Menlo School in 2011 and 2012 when the team captured the WBAL league championship in 2012 and also assisted the Encore 18-1 team in 2015 which competed at Junior Nationals in New Orleans. Jonathan was a dual-sport athlete at SUNY-Cortland where he competed as a wide receiver for the football team and was an All-American for the track team, competing in the hurdles. He received his Masters in Physical Education at Long Beach State where he learned to play beach volleyball and competed in CBVA tournaments. 

He and Atlee currently reside in Portola Valley where he works at Webb Ranch.
