Menlo College

Eric Lopez enters his 3rd season as an assistant coach for the Oaks. Lopez is an Alumni of Menlo College. Lopez has helped coach 3 individuals to All-American status and 1 National Champion

A native of Turlock, CA, Lopez was a standout wrestler at Hesperia High School placing 4^th at the California State tournament. Following high school he attended Victor Valley College where he won the California Junior College Championship and took home MVP honors for the tournament. Lopez then transferred to Menlo College and became a 3-time NAIA All-American, placing 2^nd, 8^th, and 4^th at the National tournament.

Lopez graduated from Menlo College in 2015 with a bachelor’s in Psychology and is currently working towards a master’s degree in Physical Education at San Jose State University. Lopez is also a para educator for the Palo Alto School District.
