NCAA Membership Process

Menlo College has been accepted into the NCAA Division II Provisional Membership Process. In addition, Menlo College has been invited into membership of the PacWest Conference, contingent upon progressing through the NCAA Division II Membership Process. The following is a timeline for progressing through the Division II Membership Process:

2023-24 | Year One of the NCAA Division II Provisional Membership Process

Menlo College will continue to compete as an NAIA institution while implementing and complying with relevant NCAA Division II Rules and Regulations. Menlo will continue to compete in the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) and be eligible for NAIA postseason competition.

2024-25 | Year Two of the NCAA Division II Provisional Membership Process

Menlo College will be in full compliance with NCAA Division II Rules and Regulations and plans to compete as a member of the PacWest Conference and will be eligible for PacWest Championships. Menlo will not be eligible for NCAA postseason competition during this year.

2025-26 | Year Three of the NCAA Division II Provisional Membership Process

Menlo College will be in full compliance with NCAA Division II Rules and Regulations and plans to compete as a member of the PacWest Conference and will be eligible for PacWest Championships. Menlo will not be eligible for NCAA postseason competition during this year.

2026-27 | Full active membership in NCAA Division II and the PacWest Conference

Menlo College will be in full compliance with the NCAA Division II Rules and Regulations and plans to compete as a member of the PacWest Conference. Menlo will be eligible for NCAA postseason competition beginning this year provided Menlo progresses through the NCAA Division II membership process according to the above schedule.
