2025-26 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards
CLEVELAND – Capping off a memorable 2025-26 season for the department, 119 Menlo College Oaks were selected for NCAA Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Awards after excelling in the classroom as well as in their respective sports.
The D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award winners were selected based upon a strict set of criteria. In addition to being part of a NCAA Division II institution, the student-athletes chosen must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during their last academic year.
"We are extremely proud of the scholastic success of these 119 student-athletes," said Vice President of Athletics
Keith Spataro. "To have over 100 honorees for the second consecutive year is a testament to the academic culture we've been building at Menlo and the high standards to which we are committed."
From the 179 institutions to submit nominees, more than 21,000 student-athletes were recognized for their efforts this past year. The 119 winners of the awards came from all 14 different Menlo sports programs with at least two Oaks included in each sport's selections.
"In year 19, this program continues its dedication to celebrating the exceptional student-athletes who define excellence across our Division II landscape," said Associate VP and Converse University Director of Athletics and current D2 ADA President Jenn Bell. "We're proud to recognize more than 21,000 deserving student-athletes from 179 institutions, reflecting the tremendous dedication within our division — not only in athletics, but in the classroom as well. This year's submissions, from both individuals and schools, serve as a testament to the Division II way. Thanks to the administrators who nominated these outstanding individuals, and much deserved congratulations to all this year's recipients."
