ATHERTON, CA – Further brightening the future of Menlo Men's Golf, Director of Golf
Jess Stimack and Assistant Coach
Joe Dolby have announced the signing of Charlie Stephens, a transfer from the University of Puget Sound who comes off a strong first collegiate season.
"We're excited to have Charlie join the Menlo College family," Stimack said. "He is eager to make an immediate impact."
Hailing from Seattle and Odea High School originally, Stephens will enter his sophomore season this fall following a freshman campaign that saw him deliver five top-25 finishes including a top-10 mark at Whitman's Confluence Classic and a top-15 performance at the Northwest Conference Spring Classic all on his way to a 76.4 scoring average.
Additionally and fittingly for a future Oak, Stephens also claimed a top-25 result at the Royal Oaks Invitational, an amateur golf tournament collecting many of the best talent from the Northwest.
Stephens intends to study AI & Analytics when he arrives at Menlo in the fall.
