ATHERTON, CA – Menlo Director of Golf Jess Stimack and Assistant Coach Joe Dolby have further strengthened the Men's Golf roster with the signing of Chase Yukawa, a gifted transfer from NCAA Division I Cal State Fullerton.

"We are really excited to sign Chase," Dolby said. "I recruited Chase out of high school before he signed with Fullerton, and loved his athleticism as a high-level baseball player and starting point guard on his basketball team. He's a fierce competitor who focused his strengths on golf, which is just the profile we love to coach. Getting a player who started for a NCAA Division I team to join our squad immediately makes us better, but with a skillset as complete as Chase's, we will be a force to be reckoned with in the CCAA."

In his collegiate debut at this past October's Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, Yukawa had his best three-round performance of the season, a 4-over-par 220 highlighted by his 2-under-par 70 on the second day of action. The Woodcreek High School product was a four-time First Team All-Conference honoree and once the team's Most Valuable Player across a high school career marked by a fifth-place finish at the CIF State Championship in his junior season.

Yukawa plans to study Sports Management when he starts at Menlo this fall.
