Dominican Spring Invitational Results (Round 1 & 2)
SONOMA, CA – Combining for a total of 111 pars through the first two rounds of the Dominican Spring Invitational on Monday, Menlo Men's Golf is in sole possession of the lead with graduate student

Atop The Leaderboard Is Stark At A 2-Under-Par 142
Stark was simply a par machine in an opening round that saw him match the designated score a grand total of 15 times. Two birdies along the way helped him start with a 1-under-par 71 before a strong start of three early birdies in the second round guided him to another 1-under-par 71 for the 2-under-par 142 and a one-stroke lead over Cal State Dominguez Hills' Zachary Iwashita. After finishing his opening round at a 2-over-par 74, junior
Cole Kroeker delivered another four birdies along with 11 pars in his second time through for the even-par 72 and wrap up the day at a 2-over-par 146 in seventh place.
Sophomore
Emmett Shell made the biggest move up of any Oak from the first to second round, birdying four times during his even-par 72 for an 11-spot jump into the top 10 with a 4-over-par 148. Currently tied with him there is sophomore
Ryan Bello who, competing as an individual turned solid scores of 1-over-par 73 and 3-over-par 75 into a place in the tournament's upper tier. Rounding out the top four for the Oaks are junior
Kevin Chen in 26th (10-over-par 154) and freshman
Zihe Miao in 29th (14-over-par 158).
