The Warriors would even the match 1-1 after the first singles result, but Menlo countered with wins on Court 3 and Court 1 respectively as Espinosa Navarro first bested Rafael Matias 7-5, 6-4 then McAlpine was in command on the two ends of a 6-3, 1-6, 6-0 three-set victory over Diego De Cooman.
