PacWest Championship Opens With Pair Of Oaks Leading Menlo Men’s Golf

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV
 – Separated by just one stroke and both within the top 13, Menlo Men's Golf sophomore Ryan Bello and freshman QiFeng "Adam" Tong finished Monday's first round of the Pacific West Conference Championship out at Aliante Golf Club as the leaders of an Oaks team in seventh overall.

Four Strokes Separate Second Through Seventh Place After Day One
A difference of just two strokes can be found between the four Menlo qualifiers to begin the PacWest Championship as Bello, in 12th overall, shot a 2-over-par 74 that featured three birdies and nine pars while Tong, in 13th overall, parred his first six holes before ending with two birdies in his last five for a 3-over-par 75.

Sharing the third position for the Oaks after the first round was junior Cole Kroeker and sophomore Emmett Shell. The pair combined for six birdies and can be found alongside two others in 22nd overall.
