SURPRISE, AZ –
A doubles comeback, two singles wins in straight sets, and a triumphant third-set victory for junior Livia Harper made up the recipe for a 4-1 success and 3-0 record versus Stanislaus State as No. 39 Menlo Women's Tennis advanced through the consolation semifinals of the Pacific West Conference Championship Tournament on Thursday at Surprise Tennis Center.

Harper Delivers Clinching Win In Set Three
The Warriors' early doubles advantage soon dissolved as freshman Gloria Jovic and junior Zofia Dziewiecka got the better of Parker Orlando and Katrine Damjaer 6-3 on Court 2 before the doubles point was settled on Court 3 where juniors Nia Macay and Polya Nikolova took down Maiah White and Emi Mikami 7-5.

A 2-0 lead continued the Oaks' momentum from doubles with Jovic the first to finish her singles match on Court 4, winning 6-0, 6-1 against Orlando, an opponent she had previously topped in three sets twice earlier this season, to move into second on Menlo's all-time single-season wins list with 13 in 2026. Once again adding to the program record, PacWest Newcomer of the Year sophomore Ombeline Robilliart collected her 15th victory, another of the straight-sets variety at 6-4, 6-1, on Court 5 versus White.

Those wins had the Oaks in front 3-1, but the other three singles courts all moved into their respective third sets as the clincher was still needed. Ultimately, it was Harper who sealed the deal, outlasting Damjaer 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (7-0) on Court 3, ending with a confident tiebreaker as the match surpassed three and a half hours.
