CHICO, CA – Three Oaks moved up the leaderboard on the final day of the Wildcat Invitational as Menlo Women's Golf finished fourth overall and just four strokes from Westmont in third with freshman
Kim Penzold claiming third overall out at Butte Creek Country Club on Tuesday.

Strong Final Day Sees Trio Rise In Ranks
Attempting to fend off Seattle Pacific's Lauren Lee and Westmont's Karis Haltom throughout the day, Penzold had a tough start to the day before ending with eight pars in her final nine holes. She ended up with a 9-over-par 81 in round three for the 10-over-par 154 in the tournament and third place overall.
Penzold's three teammates to qualify all improved on their day one positions Tuesday with junior
Julia Torrez sprinkling consecutive pars along her trip through the course toward an 11th-place finish at 6-over-par 78 for the day and 15-over-par 159 in the two-round competition. Among the four golfers tied for 15th were both senior
Angelina Pohahau, who had a 7-over-par 79 in the final round, and sophomore
Kayla Lancaster, who tied her best round of the season with a 5-over-par 77, sharing the scores of 19-over-par 163.
