Salmeron On Base Plenty In Series With Simpson
After leading the Oaks with a 2-for-3 effort and multiple stolen bases in the first game of the series hosting the Red Hawks on
Mar. 23, Salmeron added another hit in the day's finale. That effort gave way to another two-hit performance in the first contest on
Mar. 24 that also included a pair of runs batted in. The native of Salinas wrapped up the week hitting .384 (5-for-13) with five runs scored, three walks, three stolen bases, and two runs batted in, reaching base safely eight times in the four games.
