Box Score

LOS ANGELES, CA –
Monday's start to a two-match Southern California road trip had Menlo Women's Tennis continuing their recent dominant play as a 5-0 victory was the result versus Cal State Los Angeles and junior Livia Harper contributed to two of those wins on the day.

Singles Victories All Come In Straight Sets
No games were surrendered by juniors Nia Macay and Polya Nikolova as their 6-0 result on Court 3 opened doubles play in strong fashion for Menlo. Though CSULA evened things up with a win on Court 2, Harper and junior Zofia Dziewiecka teamed for a 6-2 win over Mane Sargsyan and Georgiana Parr to take the doubles point on Court 1.

Playing to clinch in singles, the Oaks and Golden Eagles first saw freshman Gloria Jovic go a perfect 6-0, 6-0 against Charlotte Downs on Court 4 before sophomore Ombeline Robilliart extended her spring win streak to nine consecutive matches with a 6-2, 6-1 victory on Court 5. Though Menlo needed just one more triumph to end the contest, both senior Yousra Hidass (6-2, 6-2 on Court 2) and Harper (6-4, 6-1 on Court 3) ended simultaneously to finalize the 5-0 end score.
