Oaks To Watch
Â
Leading the charge in the outfield is
Joseph Salmeron, a junior transfer from Gavilan College whose strong bat and confident approach at the plate add instant offense to the lineup. Pairing with Salmeron is
Ryan Wilson, a local freshman who's locked in to bring additional firepower to the top of the Oaks' lineup. Together, the duo gives Menlo a dangerous combination of contact, speed, and power early in the batting order.
Â
Joining the program from Melbourne, Australia, freshman
Ashley Geary-Smith brings exceptional versatility to the diamond. A super-utility, Geary-Smith is expected to contribute both behind the plate and on the mound. His baseball IQ, toughness, and flexibility will be central to the Oaks' success.
Â
On the mound, junior
Aidan Mitchell returns to baseball after a few years away. Mitchell, known for his lively fastball and competitive edge, is ready to lock down the top of the rotation with fellow junior
Israel Garcia. Garcia, a crafty right-hander who keeps hitters off balance with command and late movement provides a strong foundation for the Oaks' pitching staff. The duo provides a critical one-two punch to the opposition.
Â
Freshmen to watch include
Jeremy Marquez and
Tylon Law Jr., two newcomers who bring immediate excitement to the lineup. Marques, an athletic infielder, offers a blend of speed and power that strengthens the Oaks both offensively and defensively. Law adds raw power to the middle of an already potent lineup, giving Menlo depth from top to bottom and a true threat 1 through 9.

With key veterans and promising young talent in the mix, the 2026 Menlo College NCBA Baseball team looks ready to compete with confidence and flair. Fans can expect an exciting brand of baseball built on energy, teamwork, and competitiveness.
