ALAMEDA, CA – Menlo Women's Golf had its best collective single-day showing come on Tuesday as the Oaks combined to shoot a 50-over-par 308 and tie for 14th to wrap up Cal State East Bay's Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout out at Corica Park Golf Course.

Oaks Highlights
-Team closed the tournament with its best singular round of the season 
-Menlo was led by Kim Penzold's seven birdies en route to her top 10 finish
-Ester Otiepkova elevated over 20 spots on the final day

Freshmen In Front For Menlo
Following the best singular round of her freshman year thus far yesterday, freshman Kim Penzold added three more birdies toward a 2-over-par 74 which helped her finish among a six-way tie for 10th of 102 golfers at even-par 144. Fellow freshman Ester Otiepkova ended on a strong note, matching her lowest individual round of the season with a 1-over-par 73 en route to placing tied for 41st overall with a 9-over-par 153.

Junior Julia Torrez was the third Oak qualifier at 17-over-par 161 in a tie for 71st while sophomore Kayla Lancaster rose five spots overall with an 8-over-par 80 on Tuesday that led her to a 24-over-par 168 and 91st in the tournament.
