SAN LEANDRO, CA – Menlo NCBA Baseball beat not only the rain but Saint Mary's once again out at San Leandro Ball Park this past Sunday, defeating the Gaels 9-2 in the two teams' series finale. Additionally, with the opening contest of the series being deemed a 7-0 forfeit by the NCBA, the Oaks walked away from their first weekend of action a perfect 3-0.

Bats Stay Hot In 9-2 Victory
When he wasn't beginning the game with just one run allowed in 3.0 innings pitched for his first start of the year, freshman Ashley Geary-Smith was busy roping extra-base hits such as his double and triple. Senior Billy McKinzey provided 2.0 strong relief innings and it was freshman Tylon Law Jr. who delivered a clutch two-run single with two outs to break open the game and help send the Oaks to their 9-2 series punctuation mark.
