SAN LEANDRO, CA – Coming back after a 7-0 forfeit victory in the season-opener on Saturday at San Leandro Ball Park, Menlo NCBA Baseball got a truly memorable all-around performance from junior Aidan Mitchell in the second as he drove in four at the dish while surrendering zero earned runs on just four hits over 8.0 innings with six strikeouts as a pitcher to power the Oaks to the 10-3 victory.

Game One: Menlo 7, Saint Mary's 0 (Forfeit)

Game Two: Menlo 10, Saint Mary's 3
Coming right back in the second contest, Menlo got on the board in the top of the first inning after Saint Mary's committed an error, and Mitchell grounded into a fielder's choice, each resulting in a run scored.

Saint Mary's tied things at 2-2 in the bottom of the second, but the Oaks jumped back into the lead in the top of the fifth inning after Mitchell grounded into a fielder's choice, and freshman Ashley Geary-Smith singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. In the seventh inning, Mitchell provided yet another run-scoring single, furthering a memorable game that also saw freshman Tylon Law Jr. and Salmeron each collect two hits apiece.

Mitchell impressed on the mound as well, allowing four hits and three runs (zero earned) over 8.0 innings while striking out six and walking two in the 10-3 victory.
