Four Oaks Place Among Top 30 In Strong Showing
Yukawa started the day on fire, birdying two of his first three holes then settling in with six consecutive pars as he assumed the top position. Navigating a tougher beginning to his back nine, the Roseville native then left little doubt as to who would walk away victorious with three more birdies in his final four holes for a 2-under-par 69. Besting CSUMB's Alex Cooke by three strokes for the top position, Yukawa ended with a 4-under-par 211 which represented his best tournament score since becoming an Oak.
Freshman
Cesare Pagliughi remained among the top contenders alongside Yukawa, finishing fourth overall after his 3-over-par 74 wrapped up his tournament at 1-over-par 216. The biggest move up, however, was that of freshman
Bennet Brand. He jumped 18 other golfers into a tie for 23rd overall with his 1-over-par 72 supporting an 11-over-par 226 through three rounds. Remaining in the mid-70's in the tournament, senior
Cole Kroeker closed at a 13-over-par 228 good for a tie for 29th after he sunk a hole-in-one on Hole 17.
