ATHERTON, CA - For the second time this season, Louisa Schwab has been named MPSF Wrestler of the Week after an outstanding performance at the Simon Fraser Duals in Burnaby, British Columbia, highlighted by multiple bonus-point victories.

Schwab delivered an outstanding weekend of competition in a tri-dual against Chadron St and Simon Fraser. Schwab posted a perfect 2-0 record on the day, recording 2 falls in dominant fashion. Against Chadron St, Schwab secured a fall in 2:59 at 131lbs to shift the momentum in the Oaks favor to help earn the 27-17 victory over the Eagles. Later in the day against nationally ranked Simon Fraser, Schwab once again delivered under pressure, earning a fall in 1:13 at 124lbs, accounting for Menlo's lone bonus-point victory.

This marks the second career MPSF honor for Schwab and the 11th all-time for the Oaks as members of the MPSF.

The Oaks now turn their focus to defending their MPSF Conference Championship title when they compete in Costa Mesa, California, inside the Freed Center on Sunday, February 1.
