SACRAMENTO, CA – Menlo Men's and Women's Tennis enjoyed victories up and down its new roster during the two squads' first showcase in the Jessup Warriors Invitational at the American River College Tennis Courts on Friday and Saturday.

In action in both doubles and singles throughout the two-day tournament, the Oaks contested pairings with host Jessup as well as Fresno City College and American River College.

"The purpose of this tournament was for the coaching staff to get a chance to watch all of our players compete and, with a lot of new additions on both teams, we were excited to see them in a competitive scenario," said Director of Tennis Ben Cabell. "Everyone who competed picked up at least one win and, after the weekend, we're most happy that both teams have a lot of depth."

Men Make Moves
First successes at the collegiate level were delivered by freshman Tijil Forger, freshman Nima Trips, freshman Jarl Ildor, graduate student Galien Del Vecchio, freshman David Espinosa Navarro, freshman Rodrigo Valdivieso, freshman Joao Pedro Werner Ferreira, and sophomore Lachlan Ming.
