ATHERTON, CA – Infusing Hayes-Prim Pavilion with high energy in the days leading up to the next school year, Menlo College Men's Basketball offered its first Elite Prospect Camp with new Head Coach Jamison Montgomery and his coaching staff at the helm this past weekend.
"This year's Menlo College Elite prospect camp had a great turnout," said Head Coach Jamison Montgomery. "We saw some of the best local talent in our area. With around 40 prospects, we were able to truly get to know them, evaluate them, and give them an opportunity to see what it takes on the court to be a Menlo College men's basketball player."
In addition to demonstrating and showcasing their various skillsets through scrimmages and drills inside the Oaks' home gym, prospects were provided the chance to tour Menlo's campus facilities and gain a first-hand look at the life of an Oak student-athlete.
Adding to the strong tradition of more than 35 camp alumni advancing to play for college basketball programs, the prospects walked away from the afternoon session with valuable improvements as they now pursue the next chapter of their respective careers.
