2025 Division II Women's ITA Academic Awards
TEMPE, AZ – Demonstrating proficiency on the court and in the classroom, Menlo Men's and Women's Tennis were both honored in Tuesday's Intercollegiate Tennis Association's announcement of All-Academic Team selections while 11 Oaks from the men's squad and four Oaks from the women's squad were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Setting The Bar
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, all student-athletes are factored into the cumulative team grade point average for the current academic year, and the team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2Â or above on a 4.00 scale. With a 3.64 GPA, Menlo Men's Tennis was one of 76 DII teams and Menlo Women's Tennis' 3.22 GPA was one of 104 to be named an All-Academic Team in 2024-25.
The requirement to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete is that a student-athlete must have a GPA of at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for the academic year, a feat which was accomplished by a total of 577 DII men's student-athletes and 705 women's student-athletes across the nation in 2025.
