Las Vegas, NV - The Oaks traveled to Las Vegas, NV to compete in the PacWest Conference Championships where it was a hot first day of play.  Menlo is in the hunt with two more rounds to go as this is the first conference championship appearance for the program.  Today, the boys as a team fired up a crisp five over par round and are currently in third place overall.

Seniors Shine
Menlo Seniors are looking to go out with a bang; as it was all Paul Hautbourg and Nicolas-Guy Landry who were able to walk off the course with some great scores.  Hautbourg paved the way shooting a 68 on the day and is currently in first place overall with a field of 46 competitors.  Hautbourg played a sublime round of golf logging five total birdies on his scorecard; four of which came in a five hole span.

Landry also played a great round of golf, as he was able to walk away shooting one over par.  Three total birdies from Landry today as he currently sits in eleventh place in the field looking to break that top ten and climb the leaderboard.

Hautbourg said after the round, "It was a perfect day to play golf today! I had a lot of good swings but a few mistakes that I will clean up for tomorrow.  I was also very happy to put up a good first round for the last tournament of my collegiate career."
