ATHERTON, CA - Graduate Louisa Schwab has been voted as this week's MPSF Women's Wrestler of the Week after placing fourth at the highly competitive North Central College Invitational. 

Schwab would begin her campaign with back-to-back technical falls in the first two rounds to get into the quarters. Facing her teammate, Schwab would get the victory to advance into the semifinals. Despite dropping a tightly contested 9-2 decision, she rebounded in her final match with a five-minute pin over no. 5 NAIA ranked Rose Kaplan of Indiana Tech, sharing fourth-place with her teammate. 

This is the first honor for Schwab and the ninth all-time for Menlo as members of the MPSF. 

The Oaks will look forward to a Tri-Dual against Arizona Christian and Westcliff on January 10th in Irvine, CA.
