LA MIRADA, CA – Menlo Men's Soccer capped off its first PacWest Conference road trip in thrilling fashion on Saturday afternoon, defeating Biola University 2-1 in La Mirada. After battling Point Loma in San Diego earlier in the week, the Oaks regrouped and delivered a dramatic late winner to leave Southern California with a crucial three points.

Oaks Rise Late

• Game-Winner in the 87th Minute: Janne Spangenberg's clutch strike sealed the victory for Menlo, assisted by Parker Faeth.

The Oaks weathered waves of Biola pressure, leaning on goalkeeper Martin Fiala, who produced four meaningful saves, none bigger than his denial in the 53rd minute that kept the Eagles from seizing momentum.
