Atherton, CA-As Menlo Men's Tennis prepares to begin their playoff run at the GSAC Championships the conference's award winners have been announced with the Oaks receiving plenty of representation!

Seniors Shine on All-Conference Team

The senior pair of David Mulas Zelenskaya and Saar Rogovski have both been named to the GSAC All-Conference team. Rogovski has been a mainstay at the number one singles position for the Oaks all year long. He has helped lead the Oaks to the GSAC playoffs while being a driving force in the Oaks recent hot streak including three straight sweeps against conference rivals Jessup, OUAZ and Arizona Christian. Meanwhile, Mulas Zelenskaya has been not only a leader on the court but off it as well. The two time team captain played as a member of Oaks number one doubles pairing for the season. Menlo finished the regular season on a seven match win streak with the Las Rozas, Spain native being a big part of the reason why.

Mcalpine Earns Freshman of the Year Honors 

While Menlo's veteran players were honored as some of the top players in the conference, newcomer Robin Mcalpine would go on to be named the conference Freshman of the Year! Mcalpine went on to put together an outstanding individual run through conference play which included a six match win streak as an individual! He was also highly impactful in doubles play alongside fellow underclassman Ruben Russwurm. The duo stand as a testament to the bright future that of Menlo Tennis with the transition to the NCAA right around the corner.
