Atherton, CA-With clear weather finally hitting the Bay Area, Menlo Women's Tennis was able to face off against the visiting Coyotes of College of Idaho on the newly renovated Cartan Courts! What followed was one of the most dominant showings of the Oaks season!
A Complete Sweep From Start to Finish
Right away it was apparent that the Oaks were dialed in and looking to make a statement. During the doubles portion of the match Menlo not only won all three sets but did so in convincing fashion. All three pairs of players would sweep their respective match with Jennifer Pfaefflin and Milana Hrudka winning in a dominant 6-0 fashion!
During singles play the Oaks once again swept through their opponents winning all six matches! Hrudka, Franziska Niederle and Andrea Vlasceanu were unstoppable with the three players winning in two sets each and they only would allow their opponent to score one point in each of their matches. It was a clinic from the trio who never allowed the Coyotes much of a chance. On top of her great showing in the doubles, freshman Jennifer Pfaefflin was once again on her "A" game winning her respective match with final scores of 6-1 and 6-1!
It was a great day for Menlo Women's Tennis who validated their standing as one of the best teams in the NAIA who is now receiving votes towards a national ranking!
