Atherton, CA-After some unfortunate rain cancellations the Oaks were finally able to get back on the golf course. The Oaks put together a strong outing with the men securing a top three finish and the women's taking fourth out of 11 teams.
Men's ResultsÂ
Nicolas-Guy Landry, as has been the case for much of the year, led the way for Menlo enroute to taking fourth place as an individual. Landry's second round was exceptional as he would shoot four under par on day two. It would be one of the best rounds of golf played by an individual on the year. Tej Gangavarapu played a really nice, consistent round of golf as well. After a solid 72 stroke outing on day one, he followed up with a 75 score on the second day. Lastly, Paul Hautbourg and Jack Stark would tie for a 23rd place finish out of roughly 64 golfers.
Women's Results
As for the women, Holly Obermuller would take seventh place as an individual with a total score of 152. In fact, Obermuller was the epitome of consistent shooting 76 on both days. She has been arguably the Oaks top performer this year and continues to lead the team both on and off the course. Freshman Sakshi Mehta also performed well as the Oaks' second individual for the tournament. She would go on to score 160 points thanks to a 79 and 81 score respectively.
