Irvine, CA-Both Men's & Women's Tennis made the trip down to Irvine to take on Westcliff University. Unfortunately, both teams would be unable to pull out the victory with the Warriors defeating the Oaks across both programs.
Men's Results
It would be close matches across the board for the men's team with many of the games requiring multiple sets to determine a winner. Most notably Saar Rogovski and David Mulas Zelenskaya would give their opponents all they could handle. Mulas in particular was close in both sets while also putting together a relatively competitive doubles match alongside Asger Ildor.
Women's Results
On the women's side of the courts Franziska Niederle would lead the way for the Oaks in both doubles and singles play. During the doubles portion of the day, the duo of Niederle and Anthea Weiland would win their doubles match by a score of 7-6 in a back and forth match. During the singles play Niederle continued her high level of play winning her first set. Unfortunately, she would not get the chance to secure the victory as her match was left unfinished due to the Warriors having secured the decisive fourth point before Niederle was allowed to finish.
