Atherton, CA-In their season finale the Menlo Men's Tennis team battled to the final point but eventually would fall to Jessup. While this does end the Oaks five game win streak, the team is still poised to make a solid run in the GSAC Tournament at the end of the month.
Right away it was clear this match would be a close contest. All three doubles matches saw each pair score at least three points with Jessup winning two of the three contests. Once the singles got underway it was more close matches across all six matchups. Four of the matches would go to a decisive third set. Emmanuel Azam, Amirhossein Rezaeinezhad and Paul Niederle would win at least one of their three sets. Freshman Amirhossein Rezaeinezhad had a strong 5-1 lead in the final set but the match did not finish due to Jessup having clinched the victory.

Thankfully, despite this loss it looks as though the Menlo Men's Tennis team should be looking at a GSAC Tournament appearance. In the program's first ever year the team still managed a winning record and was able to post a five match win streak. If this season is any indication, Menlo Tennis has a bright future ahead!
