Despite the team's 5-set loss against Jessup, Maya played a critical role with 6 kills, an ace, 4 blocks (including 2 solo), and 13 digs, showcasing her all-around versatility. She followed up with an even more impressive performance in Menlo's first PacWest victory of the season, where she delivered 14 kills, 2 assists, 2 block assists, and 14 digs. Maya’s dominant presence was pivotal in securing the win, and her contributions made it clear that Menlo could not have succeeded without her leadership and effort on the court.
